Everyone is unique. Information is everywhere, but finding useful and accurate information can be difficult if you’re interested in the skilled trades. V2V is focused on providing you unbiased information about local opportunities in the skilled trades and guide you to your first steps. You receive one-on-one sessions, including assessing your strengths, planning your career path, and progress follow-up.
We learn about your strengths, interests, values, and goals. No one gets generic responses. Sessions are as detailed or relaxed as you want.

Ever wonder what it’s like to build a skyscraper? Do you really know what a mechanic does all day? With field trips on Oahu, you can get a rare glimpse of working on a job site. You will also learn about the Honolulu Community College programs that can help you get a start in these careers. Each tour will be guided by a seasoned professional who can answer your questions and give you insight into their industry. Tours are exclusive, so no need to jockey for the best view or not being able to hear the speaker.
Space is limited on our tours so every participant gets a "front seat" during our field trips. You'll get behind-the-scene access to job sites may students never have.
Participants can talk with and ask trades workers questions about what their jobs are like. You will also see people working at different points of their careers.
